Condensed Overview:

GAME DESCRIPTION
With the collision between the virtual world and the real world in the 21st century, how does one maintain the understanding of reality over fantasy? InstaReality explores the situational chaos amongst millennials maintaining a social media presence while also sustaining a social life outside of the internet. Balancing online relationships and in-person relationships, players must strategize their time to keep social connections with people in both the virtual world and the real world.

OBJECTIVE
Balance time between reality and insta-reality. Players collect InstaReality cards, representing social interactions, by betting or compromising the number of hours they have. To maintain your social media following as well as your real life relationships, InstaReality encourages strategy and careful decision-making. Each player is given a starting card with numeric values relating to “social media” and “real life” points as well as a determined number of hours to be used as a form of payment for InstaReality cards.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS
